Turkish Airlines has revealed an increase in its flight frequency to the Maldives, strengthening connectivity between Istanbul and Malé.

The flights will operate between Istanbul, Turkey, and Malé, Maldives, with the expanded schedule running from 13 May to 22 October 2026.

Under the revised timetable, services from Istanbul to Malé will operate every Wednesday, while return flights from Malé to Istanbul will operate every Thursday. This will increase the airline’s current schedule from four to six weekly direct flights between Istanbul and the Maldives.

According to the schedule, flights will depart Istanbul at 20:20 and arrive in Malé at 06:30 the following day. The return service will depart Malé at 08:00, arriving in Istanbul at 14:20.

The additional flights are expected to offer greater convenience for tourists from European and North American markets. With Istanbul serving as a major global transit hub, the enhanced schedule is also seen as a competitive alternative route amid changing airspace conditions in the Middle East.
