Planhotel Hospitality Group has announced the promotion of Hannes Ellerbrock to the position of General Manager of Diamonds Athuruga Maldives, effective April 2026.

Hannes joined the group in November 2024 as Resort Manager and has since demonstrated exceptional leadership, strong operational expertise, and a deep commitment to both guest satisfaction and team development. His hands-on approach, attention to detail, and passion for excellence have played a key role in enhancing the overall guest experience while fostering a strong and cohesive team culture.

With over a decade of international hospitality experience, Hannes brings a proven track record of driving performance, inspiring teams, and delivering consistent results. His journey at the resort has been defined by dedication, integrity, and a clear vision for creating memorable and authentic guest experiences.

In his new role, Hannes will oversee all aspects of operations at the resort, focusing on elevating service standards, strengthening market positioning, and ensuring the continued delivery of exceptional guest experiences in one of the Maldives’ most sought-after destinations.
