Atmosphere Core hosted a special Iftar evening on 8th March at VARU by Atmosphere, bringing together key industry partners in a warm and reflective gathering to mark the holy month of Ramadan.
Set against the serene backdrop of the island’s beach, the evening welcomed leading DMC partners, media representatives, and corporate commercial team leaders, creating a relaxed space for connection and conversation during this meaningful time of year.

Held as a gesture of appreciation for its valued partners, the evening created a meaningful opportunity to connect, share the moment of Iftar, and strengthen relationships in the spirit of togetherness and hospitality. Guests were welcomed at sunset by the Atmosphere Core team and invited to enjoy an evening of introductions, live music, and networking on the island.
As the call to break the fast approached, guests came together for Iftar, sharing traditional Ramadan refreshments in the spirit of togetherness and reflection.
Adding a light-hearted touch to the evening, a raffle draw featured special giveaways from Atmosphere Core brands, including THE OZEN COLLECTION, Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, and COLOURS OF OBLU. Guests had the chance to win two-night stays at OBLU NATURE Helengeli by SENTIDO, VARU by Atmosphere, and OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI, with prizes presented by members of the respective resort leadership teams.

The evening concluded with closing remarks and continued networking, offering guests the opportunity to further connect before departing. The gathering also coincided with International Women’s Day, adding a meaningful note to the occasion as attendees took a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of women across the hospitality and travel industry.
Known for its ‘Naturally Maldivian’ philosophy, VARU by Atmosphere provided a fitting setting for the occasion. Within Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, VARU wholeheartedly embraces Maldivian culture, where local flavour flows through every element of the guest experience.
The resort is home to KAAGÉ, its contemporary Maldivian specialty restaurant celebrating the island’s culinary heritage. Reflecting this spirit, the Iftar spread featured a selection of local delights and traditional cuisines, offering guests an authentic taste of Maldivian hospitality.

Ahmed Rifau, Resort Manager at VARU by Atmosphere, added, “It was a pleasure for the team at VARU by Atmosphere to host this special Iftar evening and welcome our valued partners and media friends to the island. Ramadan is a time that brings people together, and we were delighted to create a warm setting where guests could connect, share the moment of Iftar, and experience the genuine hospitality that VARU is known for.”
The Iftar evening reflected the spirit of Ramadan — bringing people together in a moment of gratitude, connection, and hospitality.
