Travel Trade Maldives has released the October 2026 edition of its print publication, bringing together the latest resort features, industry insights and stories celebrating the Maldives’ tourism landscape.

The TTM Takeover section spotlights SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton, under the theme “Beyond the Traditional Maldives Escape”. Set within CROSSROADS Maldives, the Maldives’ first multi-island leisure destination, the resort blends contemporary hospitality with the tranquillity of a tropical island and the diverse experiences available across the destination.

In the People section, the edition features three industry leaders: Michael David Marshall, Chief Executive Officer of S Hotels & Resorts; Alexander Traeger, Area General Manager, Maldives, at S Hotels & Resorts; and Haydee Cruz, Cluster Director of Sales at CROSSROADS Maldives. Their interviews explore international hospitality experience, leadership journeys and the commercial and operational perspectives shaping the industry.

The cover story explores the evolution of Maldivian hospitality and its enduring contribution to the country’s tourism legacy across generations. It also celebrates the local artistry and rich cultural heritage that continue to shape the identity of resorts across the Maldives.

The Editor’s Pick takes readers through a range of distinctive island experiences, from the intimate island setting of Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives to the refined island living of Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives. The section also explores Siyam World Maldives’ transformation of a former tuna freighter into a dive attraction in Noonu Atoll, alongside the underwater dining experience at You & Me Maldives.
